"Hand in, pass out" - using anonymous peer assessment
"Visualize, be the illustrator" - this can be used in terms of a childcare role play activity, so learners given a scenario they act it out how they think is best practice
"Make prediction" - similarly use childcare case studies for learners to make predictions about next steps, best practice etc in order for me to gather previous knowledge or test their ability to apply previous knowledge
"Metacognition" - pushes learners to question why they have done a specific activity and how they will apply the learnt info
"Two roses and a Thorn" - not only allows me to assess if learners have understood lesson/activity/info but also reflect on my own practice from their feedback
