Resist the urge to help the students to solve a problem is quite hard for a maths teacher but this is exactly what we need to do for active learning. By allowing our students to think for themselves and deal with problems to find the answers, we let them grasp concepts at a deeper level.

Also, braindump seems to be a fast and helpful tool to either recap previous lessons or have a quick check on what students learned in the lesson.
